Preparation for hiking seminar

Preparation for hiking seminar 27 Nov 7.30 – 8.30 pm
Hiking is the best preparation for hiking – but how can you prepare for longer more challenging hikes when you still have to work, care for your family, and do all the other things expected of you.

Holistic Personal Trainer Jo Cordell-Cooper has just returned from 16 days of back to back hiking in Nepal, hiking for 6-8 hours in challenging high altitude for much of it. How do you do this and remain injury free, full of energy, and truely enjoy the experience?

What mental preparation can you do so you shrug off unexpected challenges that are inevitable?

Over this 60 minute seminar we will cover Jo’s preparation for hiking hacks that will ensure you are fit enough for your chosen challenge. Additionally we will look at how to strengthen the body to minimise pain, discomfort and further injury to shonky knees and dodgy ankles.

We will also look at what needs to be done to avoid tendonitis (a silent, progessive and long term injury).

This seminar will suit people with and without a firm plan about where they are heading – so if you are thinking about it . . . or have a firm plan as your where to next – this seminar is for you!!

Jo will be working through someone’s itinerary – ie designing a tailored plan, worth $108.90.

12 spots only.
