Jo Cordell-Cooper, women’s personal trainer based in Hobart, will help you improve your hiking fitness, getting you hike ready by doing 75-minute Friday Night Hikes. Whether you need fitness for hiking long day walks like a Tasmanian Iconic Walk or multi day walks, at sea level or at altitude Jo Cordell-Cooper will help you build your hiking fitness, incrementally challenging you with her Friday Night Hiking Training. The 75-minute sessions are on local suburban bush tracks. Bring your backpack and coat, and hiking poles if you have them. We will learn how to use suburban hiking trails to gain the fitness you need for longer adventures. These are all weather experiences (unless there’s high wind or thunder and lightning). Hike with Jo and build your confidence. Let’s get you ready for adventure. The walk start location may change from time to time, but Friday Night Hikes are always in Lindisfarne, Geilston Bay or Howrah. Need something more specific to build your hiking fitness? Are you wanting to get fit for bigger adventures? Friday Night Hikes are where you start. Whether you need fitness for hiking long day walks like a Tasmanian Iconic Walk or multi day walks, as sea level or at altitude Jo Cordell-Cooper will help you get you fit for purpose and ‘hike ready”. Our 75 minute sessions are on local suburban bush tracks. Bring your back pack and coat, and hiking poles if you have them. We will learn how to use relatively short tracks to gain the hiking fitness you need for longer adventures. This is an all-weather experience (except high wind and thunder and lightning), helping you build confidence in a range of weather situations. The walk start location may change from time to time, but we will always be in Lindisfarne, Geilston Bay or Howrah.
